• Passengers must be at least 18 years old.
• Drivers must hold a valid licence to carry passengers in accordance with applicable legislation.

1.2 Permitted use

The user undertakes to:

• Use the app for lawful purposes only
• Provide true and up-to-date information
• Respect traffic laws and local regulations
• Use the service ethically and responsibly

1.3 Prohibited conduct

It is strictly prohibited to:

• Use the app for illegal activities
• Defraud, manipulate or compromise the operation of the platform
• Share access credentials
• Use the service for unauthorised purposes

• The user is responsible for the information provided at registration.
• The user must keep their password and account confidential.
• Any unauthorised use must be reported immediately to the IXI YAMI team.

• Payments are made through the methods available in the app, including Unitel Money and other legally accepted means.
• Fares are shown when the service is requested.
• By confirming a ride, the user agrees to the applicable amounts.
• As a rule, refunds are not issued, except in proven cases of service failure.

Using IXI YAMI involves collecting and processing some data necessary for the service to work, including:

• Real-time location (for ride assignment and navigation)
• App usage data
• Account information (name, contact details and registration data)

4.1 Purpose of processing

The data is used for:

• Operating the transport service
• Improving the user experience
• Security and fraud prevention
• Compliance with legal obligations

4.2 Data sharing

• IXI YAMI does not sell personal data.
• Data is not shared with third parties without consent, except when necessary to provide the service (e.g. the partner driver receives the trip location) or when required by law or the competent authorities.

• IXI YAMI acts solely as an intermediary platform between users and drivers.
• It is not responsible for directly carrying out the transport.
• It is not liable for accidents, losses, damage or delays occurring during the provision of the service.
• Users are responsible for complying with applicable legislation.

• IXI YAMI may send notifications within the app, by SMS or through other digital means.
• These communications may include service updates, security or operational information.

• The IXI YAMI app is owned by COSTA VI COMÉRCIO E SERVIÇOS (SU), LDA.
• All rights to the brand, design, code and content are reserved.
• Copying, modification or distribution without authorisation is prohibited.

• IXI YAMI may suspend or close accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms.
• The user may close their account at any time.

• These Terms may be updated periodically.
• Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the changes.

By using IXI YAMI, the user declares that they have read, understood and accept these Terms of Use and the associated Privacy Policy.
